What are the reputation of these fashion brands in your country?

What are the reputation of these fashion brands in your country?
Looking at past threads, there were some interesting answers how different cities, and especially countries view different brands. Naturally these will be larger brands with more international presence. So how is it perceived in your area? I'll start
    area: Northern Japan
Ralph Lauren: good quality but popular with children, middle age or seniors. They prefer the big horse over the small.
Lacoste: emptier stores, but I've always noticed clientele are always some rich old guy and hot young woman
Fred Perry: very popular among college students
Abercrombie and Fitch: very popular among 25-50. Not uncommon to see middle age people wearing it. They prefer big moose or wording
Uniqlo: popular and unpopular at the same time. Associated with cheap basics. Everyone goes there to get socks, dress shirts, airism, heattech. But when it comes to statement pieces, you'll find a lot of "but If I buy that, I'm likely to run into some one e ... View Full Text

Can You Describe Your Style in Words?

Can You Describe Your Style in Words?
I'm curious as to how everyone would differentiate or try to describe their style in words. What I'm envisioning is basically being stripped of using an image as a crutch, but instead trying to paint a picture of what that style is about through a description of the clothing or even of the setting that you would envision as being ideal for you (weather, surroundings, decor, etc.).
My rationale is that it will actually be really difficult to do, but it will be rather telling in terms of how you try to mold yourself and stand apart from the crowd.
My approach to this is much less about the clothing and much more about the image and the setting as a whole. I'll give it a go as an example:
**I've always seen my style as a dressed down twist on a "refined gentleman." The type of man that you would expect to return home to a study, surrounded by rich woods with a Waterford Crystal decanter of scotch on a side table. A dog sleeping on a rug in front of a h ... View Full Text

How much of a difference is there between the ELDW light and regular?

How much of a difference is there between the ELDW light and regular?
there is a difference in coverage and finish. for light-med coverage go with ELDW-light, however if there are times when you want full matte coverage, then go with ELDW. the best part is ELDW is easy to mix with lotion to thin it out or liquid illuminizer to make it satin. a damp bb will also thin out the coverage. so one foundation can be worn in multiple ways.
if you want a quality foundation that is fast and easy to apply (sometimes i just use my fingers) then try ELDW-L.
if you want versatility ranging from medium to full coverage, then try regular ELDW.
both are excellent, you cant really go wrong, but do get a sample of each and see what you think.

    What is your clothing catnip?

    What is your clothing catnip?
I am curious about what your clothing catnip is!! By this I mean, the first section you go to in a shop/on a website, the category of clothing you own the most of, or just whatever type of clothing is most likely to give you that jolt of happy!
For me, it's knitwear and boots. I lust over gorgeous cable knit sweaters and have massively upped my knitting game to keep up with this love!
I also feel this way about boots, especially engineer type boots with buckles, which is weird bc I don't own any!

Substantial weight gain, need entirely new wardrobe, no idea where to begin

Substantial weight gain, need entirely new wardrobe, no idea where to begin
    Where do I even start?
I have almost no clothes that fit me after having gained a significant amount of weight and I have no idea where to even start looking for stuff.
I am a student, and don't really have expendable money for clothes, but with it getting colder I'm going to need some soon. I don't really have a defined style, and it feels like every time I go out and buy a useable amount of clothes, I gain 20 lbs and can't fit into to them anymore.
I'm having health issues, which is the main reason for the weight gain, and it's taking a major toll on my self-esteem. At last measure I was 126lbs and had a 35 inch waist. I was 85lbs and had a 24 inch waist before this started. I have no idea how to dress without looking pregnant.
I have a few dresses (like maybe 5 or 6 and none are dresses that I can get away with wearing all the time) that fit but I can't really wear them to school, due to the classes I'm taki ... View Full Text

Halloween 2016: What are you dressing up as?

Halloween 2016: What are you dressing up as?
    Hey guys,
So Halloween is fast approaching and I can't decide what to be. I've been really wrapped up in grad school and I have barely had a minute to breathe. I was thinking it would be cool to start a discussion of Halloween costumes that you can easily make out of what's in your closet, high fashion halloween costumes, what you're being this year, etc. Just thought it would be fun!
Cause I have like nothing in my apt and I can't afford to drop major dollars, I was thinking of being a Sim Robber but I also am not sold! I was also thinking of being a Fashion Disaster - super mis-matched and a total wreck.
    What are you being?

    Bisexual? Bi-Curious? Or just straight?

    Bisexual? Bi-Curious? Or just straight?
    Hi girls,
I just found this forum and thought it would be a good place to just let loose and be honest to maybe help myself just figure things out.
I'm 16 and currently identify as straight, and I don't have much experience with relationships overall for starters, so I can only speak from my experience from crushes and so on. I go to an all-girls school and so before I had few guy friends, only recently meeting and getting to know some more, but I'm a bit really very awkward so I'm only really comfortable with guys around my oldest friend (he's like family, though).
I had a crush on a guy when I was younger (like, 10-11), and when I saw him I felt butterflies and definitely knew I liked him. However over time that died out because nothing happened. Now I met another guy who I know likes me and my friends keep egging us on but I don't think I feel the same way about him. I feel like I should be in a relationship with him but I just don't think I ... View Full Text
