Help me determine my eye shapes?
Hi, I was hoping you guys could help me determine what shapes my eyes are.
I know they're basically standard distance apart, but I don't know what shape they are, just that they are different--which is enhanced with shadows and attempts at winged liner if I follow the same application method on each.
here is a photo for reference (please forgive my messy everyday brows) Many thanks in advance!

Finding the right contour shades for pale/pink on budget

Finding the right contour shades for pale/pink on budget
I don't wear make-up in the day to day, so I have a couple shades of eyeshadow, a couple shades of blush, a couple shades of lipstick, one shade of foundation, and a highlighter. Because I don't wear make-up often, I'm hesitant on buying much because I don't tend to know how it would blend, or whether it'll make me look like an oompa loompa again.
I'm pale, but I am often pretty pink all over. Blending this into a tone that works with my neck and collar bone often results in me being quite pale. And this is valid, because I've tried darker 'pink' shades of foundation and it looks way off. The paler shade looks more natural, but then I go from pink nose/cheeks to flat pale. So, I'd like to try contouring to at least see how it works on my face.
But this goes to my first concern.
I don't want to spend a lot of money trying to determine what my contour shade should be. I'm scared because most everything I can find here in Texas is a ... View Full Text

Makeup Lover with huge pores needs help

Makeup Lover with huge pores needs help
My pores have gotten so huge that my makeup doesn't look good at all. I always wash my face before makeup application, I moisturize and let it sit for 15-20 mins.
I also use the porefessional by benefit. The foundation i switch between are Estée Lauder double wear and Maybelline fit me Matte and poreless.. nothing seems to be working at all. Any advice or product recommendations? Thanks..

Does anyone know if there might be a way to get free makeup? I don't have the money to afford anything (very tight budget), but I could really use some help with building my collection.

Master Palette by Mario or Modern Renaissance?

Master Palette by Mario or Modern Renaissance?
Alright guys. Idk if this has been asked before but I'm a little indecisive right now.
I recently ordered the ABH Master Palette by Mario because the colors look beautiful and I wear nudes basically every day. I also think the ABH Modern Renaissance looks gorgeous with those berry colors and I have NOTHING like that in my collection but idk if it's worth if you get both.
I've only ever bought Urban Decay palettes (have Naked 1, Naked 3, and both small naked basics). Keep in mind I'm fair skinned and I've been hesitant in buying the Modern Renaissance because the colors are bold and out of my comfort zone. What do you guys think?

Concealer advice: need something to help cover my chin acne

    Need concealer advice
I have never really needed concealer much, until now. And I'm finding it really hard to find the right shade - they all come out too yellow.
The foundation shade I use is BareMinerals R150 (fairly medium), and I need something to help cover my chin acne. Any advice/tips is highly appreciated!

Lipstick Advice Needed: Online Purchase or In Store?

Lipstick Advice Needed: Online Purchase or In Store?
So I'm extremely new to makeup... I've been wanting to get more into makeup, but I have no idea where to start. I use Etude House BB Cream in Blooming Fit & Make Up Forever's Pro Finish Multi-Use Powder #118. Sometimes I put on UD's Vice in Big Bang.
Anyhoo, I've been wanting to get more into makeup & I wanted to start with lipstick. There are so many different options! I was looking into ColourPop's Ultra Satin and Ultra Metallic liquid lipsticks (I was looking at 3 Way, Kween, Man Eater, and Barracuda), but I'm not sure how they would look on me or what their formula is like...
I'm trying to decide if I should take the plunge and just try out ColourPop or go to Ulta and try out different lipstick brands in person. TIA for your help!

Is there a solution to perfect beautiful long-lasting colorful nails?

Is there a solution to perfect beautiful long-lasting colorful nails?
Hi, I love colored nails. I simply feel boring with plain nails. I love looking at my hands with a nice fresh manicure in a cute colour. I used expensive nail polishes but they always chipped within a few days. There was even this nail polish made with the same material as contact lens to allow water and air to pass through (doesn't damage nails) but it still chipped too easily and you are left with trashy, ugly nails or have to do your nails every couple of days.
I loved the look of gel manicures but heard they damage your nails a lot and my dad had skin cancer so I avoid UV lights. I tried the SNS nails (without fake tips) because they don't need the UV light and I love them. They last a long time, look like gel nails and they are supposed to be healthier but still when they come off, the nail underneath is soft and damaged and I'm worried about the long term effects. I also found a good nail salon which is gentle ... View Full Text

Can I trim my own acrylic nails?

Can I trim my own acrylic nails?
Well I got my nails done today and I'm not totally crazy about them. I got them done in the stiletto shape but they're too pointy for me.
I usually get them done like this and love it but this nail tech made them a little longer and thinner than I usually get. Can I clip and shape them myself to get them a little shorter? Will this ruin the color or the contours of the edges??

How do I get non-shit skin, no scars, no spots without makeup?

How do I get non-shit skin, no scars, no spots, without makeup?
It is just my face, but due to spending a lot of time fighting as a child (mostly with sticks) I have a number of scars, not to mention the odd spot-scar as well. The main problem is that it looks really uneven and discolored.
How do I get it so that it is smooth and relatively decent looking? (without makeup)

    Best moisturizer for combination skin?

    Best moisturizer for combination skin?
I am in search for a long time moisturizer that actually works!
I use Philosophy Take a Deep Breath, it's a Gel-cream. Absorbs quickly, has a very light scent, feels very light on the skin. I love it. I finally have happy skin!
    What is your moisturizer?

Hair dying: Temporary/Semi-Permanent Coloring Hair help, recommendations?

Hair dying: Temporary/Semi-Permanent Coloring Hair help, recommendations?
Hey there! I'm just getting into the hair dying life and i need a little bit of guidance.
I never dyed my hair, mostly because I was ridiculously lazy, but I've recently come to a place that I really want to explore new aesthetics and colors I can rock, just to change it up. I do have very conservative parents that visit occasionally and I balch at commitment, so I'd like something I can wash out completely if I choose to do so.
I have light brown hair and I'd like to try out a bunch of different colors, I'm open to anything. I have really warm coloring and I really like my natural hair, so I don't want to do anything that would compromise what it looks like naturally. (it's silly but it shows my coloring pretty well, so here's a pic if it would help
So I'd just like a little guidance as to what colors I should look into doing, as well as which products you'd recommend for my uses. Any help is much appreciated!!!! ... View Full Text

Tan lines and backne after wearing a halter bikini

Tan lines and backne after wearing a halter bikini
I'm getting married soon! Yay! I don't know why, but I got a strapless dress. Looks gorgeous but after years of wearing a halter bikini, I have tan lines, and want to even my chest out. I totally spaced on this and only remembered because I went to my fitting and my bridesmaid pointed it out.
    I have 3 weeks.
I really don't want to go to a tanning bed. Is that my only option this soon?
Also, I have acne on my upper back/upper arms. Minor issues on my cheeks and around my mouth. Any tips?

I have sensitive teeth and need them whiter. What do you recommend?
I was thinking of using Rembrandt but my teeth already are sensitive. Taking a bite of ice cream just makes me cringe because of the pain ! Please no natural ones like Peroxide and baking soda.

Skinny but have a double chin. Is there anything I can effectively do besides surgery?

I'm skinny but I have a double chin. Why? what can I do about it?
It's always been an issue for me. Is there anything I can effectively do besides surgery? I'm actually not against surgery if I knew 100% there wouldn't be any strange complications but I'm not sure how much of a guarantee that is.
Does anyone know why some thin people get double chins and if there is anything to reduce it that actually works?
Sorry to winge but it gets me depressed =( ((
    (I'm 22 and I can't be overweight because I'm a US size 6 and I eat healthily)
